Client Success
Talon Grips has been a foundational partner for ScoutYonder, and over time, they’ve become more than just business partners—they’ve become great friends.
In November 2023, Talon Grips faced a significant challenge when Amazon mistakenly removed over 150 of their ASINs, labeling them as "restricted products." These products accounted for more than 30% of Talon’s revenue on Amazon, making the timing especially problematic with the holiday season right around the corner. To make matters worse, five of Talon’s top 10 ASINs were included in the group that was flagged and taken down.
The ScoutYonder team quickly sprang into action, addressing the issue within hours of the ASINs being removed. Through a series of cases, listing updates, and persistent follow-ups, they were able to identify the root cause of the problem and resolve it. Many of the ASINs were reactivated within just a few hours, and the remaining products were back up and running within the next few days.
This incident is just one example of the numerous operational challenges that have been tackled throughout the partnership with Talon Grips. It’s a testament to ScoutYonder’s ability to navigate the complexities of selling on Amazon. Their quick response and effective problem-solving helped prevent a substantial revenue loss during a critical season. These experiences have contributed to ScoutYonder’s growing library of best practices for managing these challenges that come along with selling on Amazon.
Mike Morris, President and Owner of Talon Grips, had this to say about working with ScoutYonder:
"We have worked with Matt and the ScoutYonder team for years. We have seen great growth in both topline revenue and profitability. They have also done a great job taking on Amazon issues. We view SY as an extension of the TALON team. We look forward to every meeting with these guys."
